The first thing you're going to want to know about me is: Am I a boy, or am I girl?
Symptoms Of Being Human is a story about Riley a gender fluid teen who is having a hard time being who Riley wants to be. As if being a teenage is hard enough Riley is the child of a Congressman so coming out never feels like the right timing, Riley also changes schools hoping that it won't be the last but Riley finds out that people are not as accepting as Riley thought. Riley's therapist suggests writing an anonymous blog about the problems Riley is feeling and face and Riley thought nothing of it until Riley puts all the feelings Riley has been feeling and people start coming to for advice.
My thoughts on this book: I really loved this book this needs to be heard so much people need to know about these issues and that there in fact issues. Especially now in this world where there is so much hate against the queer community, this is an eye opening book that should be read by all. Please pick this up you won't regret it.
Opinions: Everything was perfect about this book I'm saying it now it's one of my favorite books of 2016
Overall: I give this book 5 out of 5 stars it's educational, its heartwarming, its emotional, and it has a nice touch of humor to it as well.

I love this book. May I especially recommend The Trevor Project. They are an amazing charity who do amazing things for the LGBTQ community. They are on your list but I wanted to point them out specifically for anybody who was looking for resources.
