Review Of The Truth About Alice by Jennifer Mathieu

*DISCLAIMER* If you are sensitive to explicit content such as alcohol, and sex DO NOT read this book.

This is a very intense book that has to do with death and rumors gone to far.

Alice Franklin is accused of sleeping with two guys on the same night at the same party and with Healy, Texas being such a small town word gets out fast. Then if things couldn't get worse one of the guys she's accused of sleeping with Brandon  Fitzsimmons dies in a terrible car accident. People begin slut-shaming her and blame her for Brandon's death because of some "dirty texts", even her best friend Kelsie abandons her because she doesn't want to be associated with her. Everyone in Healy High becomes cruel to her by calling her slut and murderer and they even make a stall in the bath writing terrible things about her and they call it the slut stall.

My thoughts on this book: The writing style of this book is very unique it comes from 5 POV's: Elaine who threw the party of which Alice is rumored to have slept with two guys, Kelsie who was Alice's former best friend, Josh the best friend of Brandon Fitzsimmons, Kurt who is a social outcast because he is really smart and was the neighbor of Brandon and he wants to befriend Alice, and Alice we don't actually get to hear from her until the last chapter of the book.  I really licked this concept because it was like a game of telephone where everything that was said about Alice gets twisted everytime something that was said. And we got to read what everybody else thought about her and I loved the way it warped up with Alice finally being the one to talk.

Opinions: I think it's a good lesson for middle/high schoolers to not be so quick to judge and to slut shame I mean it could ruin a persons life and how could you judge without letting them explain there side of the story because no one never asked Alice if it was true or not.

Overall: I give this 4 out of 5 stars I liked this other peoples points of views and I like the way it ended.

Review Of Dr.A.G.by Christopher Logan

DR. A. G. by Christopher Logan is a coffee table book of legendary drag queens if you are a drag fan you must pick this up.

Drag is an art and is basically men dressing as woman. Mostly famous in Vegas they impersonate celebrities but out of no where drag took over the world and this book shows the most well know and beautiful drag queens around the world.

As a big fan of drag I was thrilled when I got sent this to review I appreciate drag very much and I live for these queens. This book showcases queens from all walks of life from Vegas to Rupaul's Drag Race.  It so amazing seeing all the different styles of drag that's out there and this shows the different sides of drag and it's so amazing to see that drag does not have one style and that drag can be whatever you want it to be.

I give this 5 out of 5 stars a must get filled with amazing pictures that will make you live. If you're a drag fan or just a lover of art pick this up you won't regret it.

Reading Slumps SUCK!

So recently I have fallen into a reading slump. Yes I know tragic really I was reading a book (not gonna say which one) and it just was so depressing I fell into a reading slump. Now what do you do when a book puts you in a reading slump do you just walk away and not finish it? Because I have no idea I've never been in one before.
So I asked some of my amazing followers on twitter what I should do and @Walnutwolff and @TheLorenaLeon had some good suggestions:

So I took both of there suggestions and went to browse online at some books and I remembered I saw the trailer for If I Stay by Gayle Forman so I picked it up and I'm almost done. (let me know if you want a review)

And then I reread City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare because I couldn't remember it and I wanted to start the series so I'm waiting to get my hands on the second one (also let me know if you guys want a review)

So thank you both for the tips and make sure you follow them I put there links up there and take some notes for next time you find yourself in a reading slump.
